UPGRADE KITS
UNPACKING
Remove all packing materials. Carefully remove the upgrade
kit from the shipping carton. Inspect for any damage that may
have occurred during transit. Check for any loose, missing or
damaged parts. See individual kits in the parts list secon.
The contents include:
1. Dayton upgrade kit parts.
2. Pump/Motor assembly.
Refer to pages 8-12 for lists of parts.
Please read this manual before installing or operang pump
to provide safe operaon and prevent equipment problems.
Observe the following symbols and denions.
NOTE: Indicates important instrucons which are not related
to hazards.
IMPORTANT: Indicates factors concerned with assembly,
installaon, operaon, or maintenance which could result in
damage to the machine or equipment if ignored.

Warns about hazards that MAY cause
minor personal injury or property damage if ignored.
WARNING!
Warns about hazards that COULD cause

repair pump.

Refer to Pages 8-12 for unit specic assembly.
Below is a basic system diagram for assembly reference.
1. Aach elbows to each side of “outs” on pump.
2. Aach black pulse hose to le elbow.
3. Aach black plug to le “in”.
4. Aach regulator to right elbow.
5. Place 3/8” clamps to each end of 3/8” poly spring hose.
Aach 3/8” hose to regulator and ghten clamp.
6. Place 1/2” clamps to each end of 1/2” hose. Aach 1/2” hose
to right side pump inlet.
The pumping system can be mounted where it is visible, but
it must be protected from rain, dirt and chemical spray or
splashing. The pump must never be installed on a vercal
surface with the pump head higher than motor; for example:
like a capital leer “T”.
